About two weeks after Manny Pacquiao flew to Los Angeles to train for his March 13 fight versus Joshua Clottey, he wants to clear rumors that he is covertly meeting Krista Ranillo, his alleged mistress who flew to Los Angeles six days after he did to visit her sister who will undergo surgery.

"'Yung sinasabi nila na nakita nila kaming nag-dinner at nag-grocery, walang katotohanan 'yun," Manny told Chika Minute on February 2. "Gym at apartment lang ako. Hindi ako lumalabas. Lagi ko namang nakakausap si Jinkee (his wife). Alam niya kung nasaan ako." Jinkee is scheduled to fly to Los Angeles this month.

Manny also claimed that he and Krista do not have "sweet" photos as rumored; he said the pictures might be from their movie, Wapakman, released December 2009.

Rumors of Manny and Krista's alleged Los Angeles trysts has been making the press rounds. Pilipino Star Ngayon's Seen and Scene section reported on February 2, "SEEN: Ang mga sight ­ings kina Manny Pacquiao at Krista Ranillo sa Los Angeles, California at ang balita na babalik na si Krista sa Pilipinas dahil papunta na si Jinkee Pacquiao sa Amerika."

In the Philippine Daily Inquirer's Pacquiao Files, Beth Celis wrote on January 27, "It was too obvious, according to a friend in the show biz industry. If indeed speculations are accurate, the couple has two months to enjoy each other's company. Unless Jinkee pays Pacquiao a surprise visit in Los Angeles."

Jinkee is now also being linked to other men, like actor Derek Ramsay who is in a relationship with actress Angelica Panganiban. "No, we're not texting each other constantly. But yeah, I text her," Derek, whom Jinkee showed around General Santos City along with his handler and manager when he visited the city, told PEP.ph. "There's no issue between me and Jinkee," he added.

Manny is thinking of filing a case against those who allegedly spread rumors about him, Jinkee and Krista. "Kailangan ko ng ebidensiya nila. Patunayan nila. Ikokonsulta ko sa abogado ko. Hindi baleng gumastos ako para linawin ang salita nila. They're trying to ruin my name. They're trying to break my family. It's not good for us."

"'Yung asawa ko nililink din sa ibang lalaki. They're trying talaga na paghiwalayin kaming dalawa. What kind of people are they? Amazing," he added, shaking his head.
