Krista Ranillo to marry childhood sweetheart in the US? Says she wants to enter law school

Published: Jun 7, 2010 - 6:00am

In an exclusive interview with Showbiz Central actress Krista Ranillo revealed that she is now in a relationship with her childhood sweetheart in the US and that she is also planning to go to law school.

"Actually masaya po talaga ako dito," Ranillo stated. "I understand na meron pa akong mga commitments na kailangan pang tapusin at inaayos namin ng manager ko. Of course, hindi ko naman tatakasan 'yun. Pero dito kasi mas settled 'yung buhay."

Ranillo added that aside from being busy with her clothing line, which she is developing and marketing with the help of her cousin David Tupaz, she is also planning to attend the Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. The school is part of the Jesuit-run Marymount University. "S'yempre Jesuit din kagaya ng Ateneo," Ranillo, who had attended the Ateneo de Manila University, said.

When asked about her reaction to the persistent rumors about her involvement with boxer Manny Pacquiao, who is now the congressman-elect of Sarangani province, Ranillo said that though she wants to share her side of the story, she would rather not comment on the issue anymore. "Kahit tahimik ako may bagong istorya na naman," she stated. "Na-realize ko na lilipas din (ito)."

Though she did not name her current boyfriend, Ranillo expressed her happiness with their relationship.  "He's a professional, successful, businessman. Mabait. Private person," Krista told Bomboradyo.

Photos and videos don't lie Krista. Bakit ka magtatakang iniitntriga ka kung may pruweba naman? Sana nga manahimik ka na diyan.

Lesson for all women: Yeah, find your own man without a wife and family and you'll find peace and quiet. I wish her peace.
