Lovi Poe says she is shocked by Ronald Singson's arrest, denies he is her boyfriend

Actress Lovi Poe, daughter of the late actor and Presidential candidate Fernando Poe, Jr., says she is shocked by the arrest of her rumored boyfriend, Ilocos Sur First District Rep. Ronald Singson, for illegal possession of drugs in Hong Kong, reports ABS-CBNNews.com.

Poe's talent manager Leo Dominguez said she is obviously worried about Ronald although she is busy with work. He said Poe declined to give an official statement since she does not know the whole story behind Ronald's arrest.

Ronald's father, Ilocos Sur Gov. Chavit Singson previously told ABS-CBNNews.com that Ronald, 41, has allegedly been having relationship problems with Poe, 21. He said the rumored couple broke up on the night of Usher's concert in Manila on July 9. He added that Ronald went to Macau to see Usher perform.

However, ABS-CBNNews.com says Poe denied having a romantic relationship with Ronald, saying he is not her boyfriend.

    Lovi is being practical. She's just being a gold digger. Practical din na magka boyfriend na drug user if she's also a drug addict. She sounds ridiculous and st*p*d at this point in time now..... denying that the junkie congressman was her boyfriend.

    ewan ko sa yo Lovi, kung sino ka man. I would suggest or advised you girl to get out of that relationship ASAP, unless gusto mong mabugbog at madali ang buhay mo,if you know what i mean. But if you continue enslaving yourself with material things then magdusa ka! Addict ka ba din?

    Lovi, you should be shocked if he was arrested in the Philippines. It will never happen unless he killed an individual viewed by the public. He was arrested in HK. Last time I checked, it is outside the Philippine area of responsibility. These foreign lands are where the Generals and other Politicians are caught. Why? Because these are the places where the law enforcement authorities do what they are paid to do. Walang wang wang. Walang Senador. Walang Congressman. Walang militar. Walang pulis. Walang kamag-anak o kabit ni so and so. Yada. Yada. Yada.
