After landing the cover of Reader's Digest Asia's August 2010 issue, singing sensation Charice Pempengco was featured in Seventeen.com, the online version of the U.S. teen magazine Seventeen.  

Charice recounted how she auditioned for her guest role in Glee. "I sang my song 'In This Song.' David Foster wrote the song for me. I thought that I should sing a ballad. I thought they would love it." She also told  Seventeen.com how she found out she got the job. She said, "I was in Europe so I was on Twitter and I saw that I had over 1,000 responses and I was like 'OK, something happened,' so I opened it and it was like "Charice on  Glee!" And I was like again [with the rumors]?! I didn't get an e-mail from the show so I wasn't tweeting at that time. I just watched my fans tweet. And then after about 30 minutes the show e-mailed me and said congratulations."

Charice, who has previously  said she aspires to become an entertainment lawyer, said that her childhood dream was to become a doctor. "But my mom was like, 'It's really hard and it's going to take 10 years,' so I was like, "Okay, I'll just be a lawyer.'"  She added, "I want to be an entertainment lawyer so I'll still be in the business  I'll be in court and be like (singing) 'Objection!'" The 18-year-old said that despite her "crazy busy schedule," she still allots two hours a day for her studies. She is taking up  BA Communications at a Massachusetts-based online international university.

She also told Seventeen.com that she dreams of making a record with Beyonce or Lady Gaga. She said her biggest accomplishment was the time she sang with Celine Dion, one of her heroes.

Charice performed her first single from her self-titled debut album "Pyramid" and a cover of Beyonce's "Halo" at the Seventeen office. Watch the videos here.
