Sharon Cuneta has questioned Hayden Kho Jr.’s explanation about his controversial tweet rumored to be an attack against Cuneta’s Marie France advertisement, reports PEP.ph. Kho previously said that he was referring to an "’L**D’ that’s supposed to be a LOURDES" in January 28 tweet that read "There’s a billboard ad in Edsa developed by advertisers who think consumers are stupid. Guess."
On Sunday, Cuneta said she has heard talks that Kho was referring to Joel Cruz of the Aficionado perfume line. "Pero ’yong billboard na sinasabi niya (Hayden), July 2010 pa, bakit pitong buwan kung totoong ’yon ang pinatatamaan niya? Bakit pitong buwan bago ka mag-react?" ("But the billboard that Hayden was supposedly referring to was put up in July 2010. Why did it take him seven months to react, if that was what he was really referring to?")
The actress-singer also wondered why news of Kho’s tweet surfaced around the same time that her "Before" and "After" billboard was rumored to be pulled out.
"Alam mo, ang masakit sa akin Tito Boy (You know what hurts for me, Tito Boy), I have never in my wildest dreams (thought) that I’ll be associated with his name," Cuneta told The Buzz host Boy Abunda on Sunday. "I mean, I don’t need an issue like this. Nanahimik po akong nagtatrabaho."
On the same day, Kho said on Paparazzi that he just asked a question in his controversial tweet, reports PEP.ph. He declined to reveal what billboard he was referring to even though Cruz has supposedly admitted in an interview that Kho was referring to him.
Addressing Cuneta, the former cosmetic surgeon said, "Wala po akong sinabi (I didn’t say anything), Ate Sharon. I don’t feel that I have to say sorry to you, but if you feel that way, then I really can’t do anything about it."
