(SPOT.ph) Dionisia "Mommy D" Pacquiao showed her P1-million Hermes bag to the media yesterday, reports TV Patrol. The orange Hermes bag was a gift from boxing champ Manny Pacquiao and his wife Jinkee for Mommy Dionisia's 62nd birthday last May 15.
Mommy Dionisia told TV Patrol anchor Korina Sanchez that she first learned of the bag when she saw one in Manny's house. Dionisia asked her son: "Anak, ano ba itong klase na bag? Parang kung tingnan natin hindi maganda, pero ang materyal ang mahal (Son, what kind of bag is this? It's not pretty but the material is expensive)." Dionisia asked her son for the bag and Manny, in turn, promised to give her one of her own on her birthday.
According to the report, Dionisia first used the bag when she went to church. She also showed Sanchez a matching orange scarf, which was given to her by former President Joseph "Erap" Estrada.

Whether P1m or P140k doesn't matter to me. The fact is this "luho" should be kept from public eyes and knowledge. Million of our countrymen are poor and barely have three meals a day. Rich people must be sensitive enough about the feeling of the poor. Besides, this would encourage material crass mentality, that material things are more important than anything in this world.
