(SPOT.ph) American travel magazine Travel + Leisure named Boracay the fourth Best Island in the world in their 16th annual “World’s Best Awards,” reports Manila Bulletin.
In its first appearance on the magazine’s Top 10 Best Islands list, Boracay island in Aklan received a score of 89.83. First place went to Santorini, Greece, with a score of 90.61; Bali, Indonesia, was second with 90.45, and Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, was third with 89.9.
Travel + Leisure derived their results from readers’ votes, which were based on natural attractions, activities, sights, restaurants, people, and value.
