(SPOT.ph) Model-host Georgina Wilson, who recently received flak for bashing the alleged courtesy call between Paris Hilton and President Noynoy Aquino, explained that her comment was just an opinion, reports ABS-CBN News. Earlier this week, Wilson said via Twitter that it was "shameful" for the President to meet the socialite when he should have better things to do.
“I like Paris, but I’m just voicing my opinion. People in our generation should voice out our opinion more,” she said, adding that a meet-up was unnecessary since Hilton was here for commercial reasons. According to Wilson, she preferred if someone Filipino-American, like singer Bruno Mars, would meet with the President. “I would want Bruno to have courtesy call with PNoy because he is a Filipino. The President meets with business people so no need to meet with Paris.”
Today, August 18, is Hilton's last day in the Philippines. The socialite and reality star has met with the executives from Century Properties who tapped her to design their latest urban resort; she will also attend the opening of her namesake luxury boutique today at SM Megamall.
