ABS-CBNNews.com reports that Sarah White, 24, a U.S.-based psychology graduate, has established a "naked therapy practice." Karen Flores, who wrote the ABS-CBNNews.com article, noted that naked therapy is "a new kind of 'treatment' that is slowly gaining popularity—particularly among males—in New York."

Flores explained how White "treats" her patients: "In hour-long sessions via the Internet, White converses with her clients and tries to solve their problems while slowly taking off her clothes. Toward the end of the session, she is completely naked." The frontpage of White's therapy site certainly says as much.

In a CBSNews.com report posted in March 2011, write Bailey Johnson revealed: "In any case, White is not a 'licensed' therapist, subject to standards and laws of a practicing psychologist. In fact, after a quick visit to her [therapy site], it would be hard to decide whether she's an unlicensed therapist who models or a model who dabbles in therapy." Johnson added: "White's clients are overwhelmingly men. Shocker. Sessions are conducted via web-cam at $150 per hour."

Meanwhile, ABS-CBNNews.com's Flores wrote that New York-based clinical psychologist Diana Kirschner told the Daily News (as cited in an article published on Mail Online) that White's so-called treatment is nothing but 'interactive soft-core Internet porn.'"

However, in a statement posted on her website, White said, "Instead of the cold, objective, impersonal demeanor of the traditional therapist, you encounter me, just as I am with nothing to hide. And as a result you feel closer to me, less inhibited around me, and by being turned on you're able to discover things you might not with a clothed therapist."
