People.com's Liz Raftery reports, "Katy Perry, 27, set tongues wagging in the Philippines this weekend, when she pulled a local male model and actor onstage for a kiss during a concert in Manila. But the newly-single singer, who split from husband Russell Brand in December, quickly shot down romance rumors, saying the smooch with Ivan Dorschner, 21, was just part of her act. "

Raftery cited an article published in The Philippine Star, which referred to Perry's "torrid flirting" with Dorschner during her January 22 concert. In the People.com article, Dorschner was described as "a television host who appeared on the teen edition of the Philippine version of Big Brother."

The Philippine Star article wasn't the only one making such assertions. UK's Daily Mail had an article discussing Perry's "Pinoy kiss." The article's title speaks for itself: "Is she trying to make Russell jealous? Katy Perry kisses another man onstage as she continues her Asia tour." The Daily Mail article, however, did not name Dorschner.

Responding to speculations, Perry, as cited in the People.com report tweeted: ""Btw, I have *kissed* 1 boy, picked randomly out of the audience, on the cheek as a part of my show for all 125 tour dates. Simmer down now."
