I quite like the way Mr. 'diary of a wimpy kid' is sticking it to Corona. Is Corona guilty? As sin. Even a fifth grader can see the grotesque mismatch between his stated assets and the ginormous wealth that public documents have clearly revealed he owns. Not only should this dog be removed from office, all the states resources should be used to put him behind bars for a very long time. And anyone else in the holier than thou Supreme Court - which considers itself a impregnable fiefdom free from any form of public scrutiny - who is found to have done the same. Marquez for one should be jailed over the the clear and unequivocal misuse of World Bank judicial reform funds. I'm sure there's others in that 'hallowed chamber' that should also go down. Time to clean house! If it precipitates an 'alleged' constitutional crisis bring it on!

First off, it's a matter of who drew first. The SC might have, with its decision to distribute the haciendero's vast landholdings to its many tillers. On hindsight, that decision by the High Court should be lauded because it's pro-poor, but for the prez, it's the last straw, coming on the heels of that TRO in favor of the former PGMA late last year. This mess of an impeachment is all about what this guy wants vs what the other guy wants, and if the results don't suit them, it's muckraking time. The way the trial has become is downright laughable what with the lead prosecutor himself, of all people, building a 50 million peso not so shabby crib in an upscale subdivision in the metro on his 25000 peso gov't paycheck, while another prosecutor is the son of a senator. You'd think the senator inhibited himself from the proceedings by now because of perceived conflict of interest, guess what? senator-judge is still sitting in at the trial. Dollar accounts?! Bet most of them have one, too. If it's anything like the jury system, this thing is crying out for a mistrial by now.
