Inquirer.net reports that on Thursday, March 8, Bureau of Immigration agents "intercepted at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport a woman who faked a mole on her face in an attempt to match the face in the picture that was on the passport she was carrying." The agents had gotten suspicious when she couldn't answer their questions. She was then asked to wipe her face with her handkerchief. The move erased her fake mole.
The report quoted Immigration Commissioner Ricardo David Jr., who said the woman attempted to board a Philippine Airlines flight to Singapore. He did not reveal the woman's name since "the anti-trafficking law forbids the public disclosure of the identities of human trafficking victims."
