Inquirer.net reports that the much-awaited “megafight” between American slugger Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao “is still possible.” Quoting Pacquiao himself, the report said everything still depends on the negotiations. “May pag-asa pa [There’s still a chance], depending on the negotiations,” Pacquiao reportedly said.
Boxing fans have been clamoring for the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight, which has hit various stumbling blocks, including Mayweather’s insistence that Pacquiao agree to blood testing and how the revenue from the fight is to be divided. On Saturday (Sunday in Manila), Mayweather defeated Miguel Cotto via unanimous decision in their 12-round super welterweight title bout in Las Vegas. Pacquiao, on the other hand, is currently in Los Angeles training for his June 9 fight against Timothy Bradley.

He also better quit demanding a 70-30 split in his favor, it's not only greedy of him, it's outright NUTS! even Pacquiao won't bite that. A Mayweather t-shirt proclaims in bold print 'U DON'T KNOW', an obvious dig at Pacquiao. All i know is by making ridiculous demands like the ones mentioned, add to that his insistence on weekly blood tests done on Pacquiao, and what have you got? A guy running scared not to have that '1' on his 'L' column. What a cop-out!
