P-Noy promises complete land reform by June 2014
Manila Standard Today reports that on Thursday, June 14, President Benigno Aquino III "committed to distribute all agricultural land under the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program by June 2014."

Manila Standard Today reports that on Thursday, June 14, President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III "committed to distribute all agricultural land under the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program by June 2014." The report revealed: "Data from the Department of Agrarian Reform show there are at least 960,000 hectares of land that have yet to be distributed to farmer-beneficiaries."

According to the report, Aquino also "approved the release of P1 billion to farmers for their initial capitalization and socialized credit" and The Land Bank of the Philippines has liwise "committed to review its policies in extending loans to farmers."

    Farmers will like this news but the thing is, once given them, can they sustain? Will the government give them enough help to enrich and cultivate their lands? Anyway, farmers must take care of the piece of land that will be given them or else it will be gone. Marami kasing farmers na pag wala ng pera nagsasanla ng kanilang mga lupa tapos hindi na nababawi, kaya nawawala uli

    As they say, they don't make them (land) as they used to. If you have a piece of land, even if it's just a small plot, and even if you don't build any kind of structure on it, its value will still appreciate in the future. Man, i wish i have some land to hold.
