(SPOT.ph) Ford Supermodel of the World winner Danica Magpantay sashays and shines in her first TV commercial. The dusky 18-year-old was introduced as the newest ambassador of Globe Tattoo@Home during a press event held at the Peninsula Manila's Salon de Ning to unveil her TVC for the broadband brand. Danica is the first Filipino to be named Ford Supermodel of the World and the 2010 competition was her first shot at modelling.
"I was actually nervous about the TV commercial shoot. Modeling for the camera was easy but acting 'natural' was hard," she told members of the press. "I am also humbled that they asked me to be the amabassador for Globe Tattoo@Home. My mom [Lala Flores] always encouraged us to be 'great.'" Danica is the daughter of makeup artist and former supermodel Lala Flores.

Danica admits she is online at least four hours a day. "I research and look at how other models do their poses, how photographers do their shoots. I also want to explore, maybe do hosting in the future. And maybe get into acting...but for now, I just want to continue being happy in what I'm doing."
