A Multi-Sensory Show, a Fundraising Art Event + More Art Exhibits to Check Out This February
(SPOT.ph) If there’s anything that years of the pandemic taught us, it’s that art will continue to thrive no matter what. And as we welcome another year, we get excited about exhibitions in various formats. Each show makes it more interesting for art enthusiasts to pay a visit to museums, galleries, and cultural centers. And there's no better time to visit these places than now.

Tipos Del Pais
Galerie Joaquin’s inaugural exhibition for 2023 opens with Dominic Rubio’s Tipos Del Pais, which is named after the traditional style of watercolor painting that portrays different types of inhabitants in the Philippines in their different garb. Rubio takes on a modern depiction such as people “moving about in their chosen modes of transportation if not playing their favorite musical instrument.”

Sandalan
Escolta-based 98B COLLABoratory opens its bi-monthly exhibition as part of its efforts to fund the artistic and creative endeavors of the space—and a group exhibition titled Sandalan couldn’t more apt for this initiative. Runs until March 23 at First United Building Lobby, 413 Escolta Street, Binondo, Manila.
