Da Vinci's Art Comes Alive Through an Immersive AI Experience

(SPOT.ph)With computer animation and now, artificial intelligence, taking great strides, new media art is also getting bigger than ever. It has even become a way for contemporary artists to reimagine classic art to fit modern-day sensibilities. Take for example, Wisdom of Da Vinci: An Immersive AI Experience, which is coming to our shores in August through a collaboration between Istanbul-based new media studio Ouchhh and Bonifacio High Street. The interactive art show runs from August to October on the third floor of One Bonifacio High Street. Tickets are P975 for adults and P780 for students.

Art of Da Vinci Comes Alive Through AI

Ouchhh, according to their website, is all about "discovering the boundaries of art by research relationship between architecture, art, science, technology, new media arts, neuroscience, and artificial intelligence." For their Wisdom of Da Vinci: An Immersive AI Experience project, they transformed Leonardo da Vinci's oil paintings into large-scale audio and visual projections. Then, touches of science and technology--through artificial intelligence—are used to make the Renaissance artworks come to life through an immersive experience.

One Bonifacio High Street has previously hosted Van Gogh Alive, which featured massively scaled projections of works by Impressionist painter Vincent van Gogh.

Wisdom of Da Vinci: An Immersive AI Experience runs from August to October at 3/F One Bonifacio High Street, 5th Avenue, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. Tickets, which are priced at P975 for adults and P780 for students, are on sale starting today through BGC Immersive's website.
