Revisit Catholic History at This Intramuros Museum for Only P75
(SPOT.ph) Looking for something to do on Independence Day? Don’t pass up the opportunity to know more about our religious history as Filipinos, especially if it means only spending less than P100 to do so.
The walled city of Intramuros is a great place to start. Even if you’re already well acquainted with Fort Santiago, the good news is that more recent museums home to several centuries' worth of artifacts have been popping up in the area, like the Museo de Intramuros.
ICYDK: Museo de Intramuros recently slashed its entrance fee by over 60% from P200 to P75. The price is even lower at P50 for students, senior citizens, and persons with disabilities. Just make sure to bring the appropriate ID for verification.

Take a look inside Museo de Intramuros
In 2019, the Intramuros Administration opened Museo de Intramuros at the reconstructed San Ignacio Church to showcase over 500 ecclesiastical pieces found in old churches near the vicinity. From religious paintings to sculptures, its six-part exhibit tells a story of how Filipinos received and responded to the influx of a new form of spirituality from the 16th to 19th Century.
