UPDATED: Here's Where Korea's Famous Paik's Coffee Is Opening Their Second PH Branch

(SPOT.ph) Everyone is pretty much obsessed with coffee these days—what are mornings without a cup or two of this aromatic brew? If we Filipinos have our iced-coffee obsession, Koreans, in turn, go crazy over their iced Americanos. In fact, South Korea is known for their abundance of coffee shops—from third-wave spaces to themed cafés—in most of the known neighborhoods. 

Thanks to the never-ending rise of the Hallyu wave in our country, more and more Korean restaurants and cafés are opening up. In case you didn't know, one of Korea's biggest coffee chains, Paik's Coffee, opened in Glorietta 1 earlier this year and it looks like they're to conquer the rest of the Metro!

Here's where you can find the next Paik's Coffee branches in the Philippines:

In a Facebook post published June 1, Paik's Coffee and Bakery announced that they will be opening their second branch at the Robinsons Manila mall this coming July! As of August 9, it's been confirmed with Robinson's that this branch is opening on Friday, August 11. 

They also announced that there are plans to put up shop in Robinsons' Magnolia, Robinson's Galleria, Robinsons' Metro East, and Robinsons' Antipolo—no dates have been announced so far, but we're ecstatic to have more branches around the Metro to get our Korean cup-of-joe fix.

Paik's Coffee is known for their huge and value-for-money prices as well as the use of specialty coffee beans from Brazil. Coffee fiends can go for the basic hot or iced Americano (P150), a shot of Espresso (P100), or a sweet Caramel Machiato (P185). Folks that don't want something coffee based can go with their signature Milk Tea (P160), Pondang Original Paiksccino (P180), or the Green Grape Flower Tea (P170).
