Here's Where Japan's Famous Yakiniku Like! Is Opening Its Second PH Location
(SPOT.ph) Earlier this year, grilled meat and solo-dining fans found their perfect spot at Yakiniku Like!'s first branch in the Philippines. The Japanese chain famous for their solo-dining provisions hit our shores and opened its inaugural branch in Pasay's SM Mall of Asia. True to our love for all things Japanese, the first branch faced long lines and a continuous stream of diners. Well, if you're a fan of the brand and are dying to try it yourself sans the trip down South, you'll be glad to know we just got word of where the new branch is going to be—and yup, it's closer to the North!

Here's what we know about Yakiniku Like!'s newest location:
On a post on their social media pages, Yakiniku Like! teased the location of their second store. "We've got a MEGA surprise for you — we're expanding! Any guesses where we're opening our newest branch next?" says the post.
Naturally, fans went into a frenzy trying to guess the new location. Some fans guessed SM North Edsa, others BGC, and even Gateway Mall. But based on the deliberate wording on the caption, our money is on SM Megamall.
This guess has actually been confirmed by representatives from SM Megamall. In a conversation with SPOT.ph, representatives from the Mandaluyong shopping hub have confirmed that Yakiniku Like! is opening in SM Megamall soon. Although no final details have been released as of writing, we're still excited about getting our dose of premium grilled eats closer to the North and East.
While waiting for the new branch, you can get your fill of quality meat options at affordable and controlled portions by heading to their SM Mall of Asia branch. Ala carte meat platters start at P89 for 100 grams or in sets inclusive of rice, kimchi, or salad, and soup beginning at P199. The restaurant is especially famous among lone and/or introverted diners, as they've got solo grill tables that let you get your fix of yakiniku—typically a dish enjoyed in a communal setting—sans the need for company.
