Café Voi La

While it sounds French, the name actually came from a Vietnamese word “boi la” which means “to cook with leaves.” It has an Asian fusion menu featuring dishes like Chicken Satay (P395) and Massaman Back Ribs (P695), which you can pair with their refreshing drinks like the Vietnamese Iced Coffee (P175) that uses coconut milk.

Don Limone Grill
While it’s known for delectable cheesecakes and Mediterranean food, regulars also keep coming back to Don Limone Grill because of their colorful interiors. It’s filled with quirky details and beautiful murals everywhere. The quiet setting is perfect for intimate conversations especially for those who don’t want to have to compromise on food, drinks, or ambience. Aozora
Satisfy your cravings for Japanese food in this industrial-looking restaurant. Its name Aozora (“blue sky” in English) is appropriate as diners are always treated to a scenic view. Their Wagyu Yakiniku Beef (P790), tender meat with fresh mushrooms and different roasted vegetables, is also a must-try for a filling main course.

Amacena
In a place teeming with Filipino restaurants, Amacena (formerly Azalea) at One Tagaytay Place knows it has to stand out. Chef Luigi Muhlach says he created a menu based on food that he enjoys eating, and once you have a taste, you'll know the dishes are made with that home-cooked goodness and a surprising twist. A local breakfast staple finds its way in the Mac & Cheese Longganisa (P300), and the Sizzling Bulalo Steak (P600) comes with fried potatoes, but do remember to make room for their Leche Flan Turon (P150).

El Cocinero by Chef Arnaldo
This dining destination is a bit far from the busy streets of Tagaytay so it offers a more secluded vibe. Adding drama to the place are the Picasso-inspired paintings and vibrant walls which complement the overall look. The owner, Chef Arnaldo, lived in Ibiza, Spain for 14 years and brought home the authentic flavors of Spanish dishes. Some of the must-tries would be the El Cocinero Paella (P1,395), Paella Negra (P1,113), and their special Pescado Al Horno (P442) or baked fish.
