(SPOT.ph) If you’ve ever been out at night and stepped into one of the Metro’s many watering holes, you’ll know there’s an intricate art to bartending, which basically involves mixing up alcoholic drinks with the right proportions. It might sound intimidating, but Three Little Pigs is out to break it down for everyone with their upcoming Classic Cocktails 101 (P2,200 per head), happening every Saturday from 3-6 p.m. starting tomorrow, January 25.
This immersive class is meant to give enthusiasts a more in-depth look into the art of mixing cocktails. Aside from teaching you how to create three cocktails—namely, the Daiquiri (shaken), Old Fashioned (stirred), and a third drink of the student's choice—they’ll be explaining more about the terms used and the tools and techniques of the trade. You’ll also be given program handouts and a certificate of participation toward the end. Each class is limited to only 10 students, so reserve your slot while you can!
Three Little Pigs is a speakeasy bar located right on top of Sisig Society in Kapitolyo. They specialize in classic cocktails—their Whiskey Sour and Gin Basil Smash are one for the books—so you know you’re in good hands.
