UPDATED: Quezon City Public Library Posts Update on Free Movie Screenings for Pride Month

(SPOT.ph) There "will be changes" to the free screenings of the Quezon City Public Library this Pride Month, according to an update on their Facebook page. Originally, movie screenings were slated for every Friday for the entire month of June.

The updated was posted on the same day as their original announcement. Each screening was scheduled to include two back-to-back movies that involve LGBT+ characters, highlighting importance of representation in film to celebrate Pride Month.

Quezon City Public Library update on their free movie screenings for Pride Month

Both Quezon City residents and non-residents were allowed to register online. Each screening had limited availability, with only 50 slots open for registration.

According to the update, the library "will be posting some updates on this soon." We'll keep watch right with you! 

Beyond movie screenings, the QCPL’s Gender and Development is also set to launch more activities for Pride Month in the coming weeks.
