GSIS Lifeline: How to Apply for a Loan Through The Mobile App

(SPOT.ph) Government Service Insurance System members can now easily apply for a loan using the state insurer's mobile application, eliminating the need to visit its branches and making transactions digital.

GSIS Touch, the insurer's official mobile app, allows members to access their records, apply for a loan, get their claims, and even find the GSIS branch nearest to them.

The app is available for both iOS and Android users through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, respectively.

How to Sign Up with GSIS Mobile App

To sign up with the GSIS Touch:

1. Create an account with your business partner or BP number and birthdate. The BP number can obtained from your office’s agency authorized officer or electronic remittance file handler, any GSIS office, or GSIS Contact Center (02) 8847-4747.
2. Input the one-time pin that will be sent to your registered mobile number.
3. Create your username and password.

How to Apply for Loan using GSIS Mobile App

To apply for a loan using the mobile app:

1. Login to your account.
2. Scroll down and look for the Loans tab.
3. Choose among the Available Loans. For example, select Computer Loans if you want to buy a computer unit for your or for your dependent's online classes.
4. The app will display the Tentative Loan Computation for your loan application. Select Show Tentative Computation Details to view how much you need to pay.
5. If you agree with the payment terms, check the box below the terms and conditions.
6. Submit your loan application.

Monitor the status of your loan application through the GSIS Touch mobile app.
