SNEAK PEEK: What to Know About Bath & Body Works' First Manila Outpost
(SPOT.ph) It's finally happening, Spotters! After months, nay, years of waiting, Bath & Body Works has finally arrived on our shores. Gone are the days when we had to rely on our relatives and friends, heck, even pasabuy just to get our hands on our favorites from this tita-approved U.S. brand. Sure, you can replenish your stash at Duty Free but that entails having to leave country first or ask someone on their way out or in the airport for a favor—well, no more relying on Balikbayan boxes, folks. The brand is opening their doors at Megamall this week.
We got a sneak peek before the official opening of the store and let's just say that it is packed full of goodies. Before you book that ride all the way to Mandaluyong, be sure you have all you need to know in order to survive Bath & Body Works. Time to get in line, titas.

Here's everything you need to know about the first Bath & Body Works branch in the Philippines:
This is their first-ever physical store in the Philippines.
Bath & Body Works' first outpost is at the Upper Ground Floor of SM Megamall's Building B. For those that aren't familiar, that's the side closest to Mega Fashion Hall, Jollibee, and right beside the entrance of The SM Store. Be sure to look for their instantly recognizable blue color scheme.
The store is sectioned off according to your needs.
Okay, you may want to fix your gameplan according to the layout. The store is packed full of goodies and it'll definitely have you going around as if you were in a maze, albeit one that smells great.
To make things simple, the store layout was sectioned off with different needs in mind. Men looking for a new scent or body wash can immediately veer to the left side of the store upon entry where they can find everything within arms reach.
The more popular scents are scattered all over the first half of the store with candles, hand soaps, Wallflowers (a plug-in air freshener), and hand sanitizers located towards the back.
Keep an eye out for the curated gifts section.
No doubt you've received a BBW goodie as a gift or pasalubong at least once in your life. Well now you can return the favor. Bath & Body Works's first Manila store has a dedicated section for gift items—pre-packaged and all set for gifting, of course—at a variety of price points. Perfect if you're in a rush to find something at the last minute.
Don't miss out on the signature Bath & Body Works bundle deals.
Of course it wouldn’t be Bath & Body Works without the deals. We’re pretty sure you’ve already sampled, sprayed, and sniffed all the possible scents that’s caught your eye. Intead of buying just one, why not, buy two or three, or more? We spotted 2-for-1 candles at only P2,000; Wallflower plug and refill combo for P1,100; and yes, 4 hand soaps for P2,100.
Scents are the name of the game at BBW.
So if you're a BBW newbie, we're sure you'll get your hands on the lotions and perfumes. But we say don't pass on the home scents either. The best way to have a great-smelling home is to layer scents. Yep, it’s not just perfumes that you can layer on but also candles and oils; you can definitely light a candle and use the Wallflower at the same time. Be sure to use different scents that compliment one another when using this hack. Think light and fruity scents if you want a more refreshed living room, or woody, headier scents for a romantic night in the bedroom.
