Mickey Mouse Goes Minimalist on This New Appliance Collection

(SPOT.ph) In July 2020, just a few months into the pandemic, the Internet went crazy over Asahi's #aesthetic electric fan thanks to its sleek design, white exterior, and wooden accents. The fascination with it came right in time for the quarantine-era obsession with home improvement, so it's no surprise that it didn't take long for stores to sell out. Along with the IG-worthy electric fan, Asahi also released several other appliances (like this chic waffle maker) in the same white-and-wood design. For 2021, it looks like they're ready to win the Internet's hearts all over again: Asahi is set to release a Disney Appliance Collection!

This stylish line of appliances, which includes a toaster (P2,690), an electric fan (P5,500), a blender (P2,790), a kettle (P2,200), and a rice cooker (P2,250), is decked out in a clean minimalist aesthetic similar to Asahi's original line of social media-famous appliances. This time around, each piece is decked out in cute prints and illustrations of Mickey Mouse. You'll also spot little details on each appliance—like the top handles on the kitchen items and the blade guard on the fan—in the shape of Mickey's head. The collection is set to release on July 17, a year after the original Asahi Aesthetic Design Series went viral. We can't wait to stock up!
