The island nation is home to many delicious eats, cheap bargains, and panoramic sights, making it a favorite for travelers. If you're headed to Taiwan's capital anytime soon, you may want to consider trying out the new STARLUX Airlines—a new flight carrier making trips from Clark, Pampanga, to Taipei, Taiwan starting in August

    Flies out every Monday, Wednesday, Saturday
    Departs Clark: 08:25 p.m.
    Arrives in Taipei: 10:25 p.m.

Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport to Clark International Airport 

  • Flight number JX 789 
    Flies out every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday
    Departs Taipei: 07:45 a.m.

    Flies out every Monday, Wednesday, Saturday
    Departs Manila: 05:25 p.m.
    Arrives in Taipei: 07:25 p.m.

Flights to Taipei via STARLUX Airlines would set you back about U.S. $100 (roughly P5,600) one way. Considering the luxe and premium service STARLUX is promising its riders, the price is not that bad.

But aside from being the new kid on the block, this airline is known for being a futuristic, luxury airline. Those stepping onboard Starlux for the first time might immediately notice a few high-end elements. The cabins of STARLUX Airlines' fleet feature earth-toned interiors with matte gold and brushed aluminum accents, which were created in partnership with BMW Designworks. Three of the cabin’s walls feature unique, rotating artwork brought to life by micro-LED technology.

The company started in 2018 and had its inaugural flight in 2020. Prior to these flights out of Clark International Airport, STARLUX Airlines used to only have hubs in Manila's Ninoy Aquino International Airport and Cebu International Airport. Aside from flights to Taiwan from Manila, Clark, and Cebu, STARLUX Airlines also has direct long-haul flights to Los Angeles, California.
