You Can Now Visit the Beaches of Bicol, Iloilo, and Mindoro Via Buses From the Metro
(SPOT.ph) Air travel isn't always an option, especially when we're talking costs. Land travel may take longer, but hey, when you've got time and not cash to spare, the bus is hard to beat. So you may want to take note: ALPS The Bus lines launched three new bus routes on June 8. If you're headed to Iloilo, Sorsogon, or Mindoro, check out these new options to get to these underrated destinations.

Here are ALPS bus lines' new provincial buses heading to Iloilo, Sorsogon, and Mindoro:
ALPS Provincial Buses to Bicol and Panay Island from Arcovia, Pasig
Passengers headed to Bicol, specifically Sorsogon, and Iloilo City on Panay Island, can take buses from Arcovia in Pasig. According to ALPS The Bus' head office, despite not having a fixed terminal in the area, buses from Cubao can stop over and pick up passengers in Arcovia.
Fare from Arcovia, Pasig to Sorsogon, Bicol starts at P1,300, while bus rides to Iloilo City start at P2,746, including the ferry ride. Interested passengers may reach out to the Arcovia dispatcher at 0920-957-0633 to secure their tickets and ensure bus availability.

ALPS Provincial Buses to Panay Island from Southwoods, Laguna
Those from the south, specifically Laguna, can also catch rides to Iloilo City sans the trip to the Metro. Buses from Cubao can also make a stopover in Southwoods. Daily trips to Iloilo City at around 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. can be arranged for P2,776, including the ferry ride.
Interested passengers may reach out to the Southwoods dispatcher via 0939-932-5036 to ensure bus availability.
ALPS Provincial Buses to Mindoro from Quezon City
Those headed to the underrated beaches of Mindoro and the Apo Reef can rest easy because buses headed to the area are now available at the Aurora Boulevard and EDSA Cubao terminals of ALPS The Bus. A total of four trips—two in the morning (7 a.m. and 7:30 a.m.) and two at night (7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.)—will be leaving for Mindoro Island from Quezon City. Tickets range from P950 to P1,350, depending on your specific city destination.
