"Giant Cat" Takes Over the Streets of Bonifacio Global City
(SPOT.ph) As one of the most happening places in the Metro, Bonifacio Global City is home to bright lights, huge billboards, and colorful LEDs to match the big-name stores and upscale restaurants that line its streets. And to take things further, this commercial hub launched a massive 3D LED billboard at One Bonifacio High Street along 5th Avenue on October 27.

Featuring over 400 square meters of a digital image, the larger-than-life multimedia display uses anamorphic illusion to make it look like the animals, humans, and other objects are jumping off the screen. This trend in graphic design and display technology is reminiscent of the dynamic ad spaces in Tokyo and New York.
At the evening launch on October 27, the BGC digital billboard showed the city's very own 25-second digital ad, including a display of a giant cat that may seem to leap from the building and onto the streets as well as a colorful bird that transforms into the estate's logo. The first set of advertisers also included Disney, Netflix, Globe, Food Panda, and Maya.
"The sensory impact of the BGC digital billboard is expected to engage audiences, transforming them into story-telling participants rather than mere spectators," said Alfie Reyes, Chief Operating Officer of Fort Bonifacio Development Corporation, in a statement.
It's expected to showcase other anamorphic displays by global and local brands, whether retail, attractions, culinary, or other industry leaders. Its location along BGC's center of street parties also makes it a great visual feast for the upcoming New Year's countdown and other festivities.
