(SPOT.ph) The summer sun is melting away and we’re slowly tucking our swimsuits and sunglasses back into our closets. But, that doesn’t mean the fun stops. An easy and enjoyable activity to try this rainy season is bowling. It’s not a very complex sport as the objective is easy to understand: Knock down the pins. You can do this using the proper form and technique or have a laugh and just experiment on your own. It’s also very versatile and welcoming to all kinds of players as alleys usually have numerous bowling balls that vary in size and weight.

Timezone is best known as an arcade center jam-packed with different games such as claw machines, video games, air hockey, and now a bowling area. But, take note: Not all branches have bowling alleys. Usually, it’s the bigger branches like Ayala Malls Manila Bay or Market! Market! The latter's Timezone outpost has a six-lane bowling alley and billiards area. Do swing by their website to see a full list of branches.

If bowling is not the particular sport you want to try, some branches also have other activities such as billiards, archery, and a basketball arcade machine. The saying must be true, they do have it all for you.

Due to the onslaught pandemic, some of our favorite bowling alleys still have not opened. While some of us are still a little skeptical to go to a mall and play, joining a country club could be one of the best options to enjoy bowling in a more controlled and familiar space. There's Celebrity Sports Plaza, which has 16 Brunswick bowling lanes and a computerized scoring system. It comes with a slightly expensive price tag, but it’s definitely a good investment for the family. Celebrity Sports Plaza also has other facilities like a gym, swimming pool, tennis courts, and so much more for their members to enjoy.
