(SPOT.ph) Women’s work wear brand Plains & Prints has joined forces with top Filipino designer Rhett Eala for the line’s Spring/Summer 2012 Collection. "We like to consistently inject a fresh, new spin into these while staying true to the brand's fashion aesthetic. And I think Rhett has achieved that with a repertoire that features pieces the Plains & Prints wearer would definitely love to don for the season," said Plains & Prints founder and owner Roxanne Farillas.
The lineup of looks includes Santorini, which features fluid knee-length dresses, wide-legged pants, printed tees, and rompers in solid hues, watercolor, and abstract prints. A key look from this collection is dubbled Laser Cut, with floral accents and color-blocked pieces.
Those into retro glam and ’70s-inspired fashion will like the Vintage Coral line, while the Preppy Paris collection puts together Parisian style with a preppy twist. The Water collection has a light and airy feel to its cool prints and patterns.
Monotone frocks in bright hues of blue, orange, green, yellow, and pink are featured in the Bright Summer Dresses line, while the punk-rock style of the ’80s takes over Neon Wave. For the athlete, Plains & Prints’s latest collection also offers Athletic Couture using mesh and tulle.
Revisit the fashion of the ’50s with 50’s Flare which highlights hourglass silhouettes with playful patterns and prints while the Fairy Tale collection features dreamy, light-colored fabrics in feminine silhouettes.
