Catch The Boy in the Bathroom on February 19 and 21
Sometimes we all want to hide in the tiled haven...but he’s been there for a year.
(SPOT.ph) Ever had that moment when the world seemed so frightening that you had to duck inside the bathroom? On February 19 (or 21, whenever is more convenient), Topper Fabregas, under the direction of Toff De Venecia, shows us once again what it's like to live with that anxiety for...oh, a year.
In the hit musical The Boy in the Bathroom, Fabregas plays David, a philosophy major suffering from major OCD. His condition gives birth to a list of other "disorders" including social anxiety attacks and singing compulsively about it.
First staged in The Imaginarium, the quirky play opened to rave reviews, with many wishing for another run. As it happens, there's a theater godmother waving her wand somewhere up there and now we'll once again have the chance to witness a funny love story involving a toilet and lots of tissue paper-handy, for wiping tears of joy.
