We're in love with Robert Alejandro's gorgeous watercolor paintings
Here's your quick dose of art today.
(SPOT.ph) Artist and product designer Robert Alejandro creates lovely watercolor paintings. Actually, not just watercolor paintings—he also designs cute washi tapes, makes paper mache sculptures, and more! He calls himself an “art minion.” Alejandro is a graduate of the University of the Philippines and currently works on personal projects, as well as for Papelmeroti. He also makes watercolor pieces with lovely typography during his travels.
If you’ve tried watercolor before, you’d know how difficult it is to manipulate and control. But Alejandro seems to belong to part of the population who are pals with the medium. Let’s take a look at some his works.
See or buy Alejandro's works on Watercolor weekends at Van Gogh is Bipolar, Maginhawa Street, Quezon City
We want to invite Robert to stay with us, too!
We want these washi tapes!
Also check out his works at the Prism Gallery's The Prism Postcard Project.
Drop by the 10th Philippine Bird Festival on December 10 at Balanga, Bataan to catch Alejandro teach kids some tricks on how to sketch birds without breaking a sweat.
