Everybody seems to be raving about #Paskuhan2015
...and it hasn't even started! We found out why people are so excited.
(SPOT.ph) Every year, before students of the University of Santo Tomas take their Christmas break, there's a campus-wide celebration that is arguably the grandest among all universities of Manila—Paskuhan. Everyone is welcome, even non-Thomasians (be prepared to lose mobile connection). Year on year, there are concerts and other pocket activities, but the main highlight is their impressive fireworks display—it's become something of a pyromusical show in recent years. This year, people are more excited than ever, not for the fireworks, but for the video wall mapping of the Main Bulding.
For the first time, video mapping technology will be used. If you haven't seen it before, be prepared to be awestruck. The Panasonic video wall mapping show will be held at the Main Building with hourly intervals from 6:15 p.m. to 9 p.m. Students who have witnessed the testing phase couldn't help but express their love for the school. The Main Building will transform into a show in itself.
Aside from the Main Building, there are more must-see sights inside the university.
The surroundings at Lover's Lane is cast with colorful lights, making it more dreamy.
The Santissimo Rosario Parish facade
The Fountain of Wisdom
Of course, the giant Christmas tree beside the UST Grandstand
Paskuhan 2015 is happening on December 18 at the University of Santo Tomas, España, Manila. The concert starts at 6:30 p.m. and the fireworks display is at 9 p.m.
