#LastNaTo: Bitter is better this Valentine's Day with Ampalaya Monologues
No Valentine? Save the date!
(SPOT.ph) Are you one of the many who cringe at the thought that Valentine's Day is fast approaching? Don't fret. Amapalaya Monologues is back to close its first volume with #LastNaTo and they’re again loaded with the best hugot stories to make your V-day loads bitter—er, we mean better! Whatever your relationship status is, laugh and cry with your favorite spoken word poetry artists and the rest of the gang at Splice Resto Bar on February 13 and 14, 4 p.m. If you missed their Christmas event, this is your chance to experience a gathering of all the ampalayas out there. Trust us, you wouldn’t want to miss it.
Ampalaya Monologues is written by Mark Ghosn and performed by Theater in Alternative Platforms (TAP). There will be spoken word performances by Rod Marmol of Utot Catalog, Jake Habitan of White Wall Poetry, Roch Lazarte and Jihads Mambuay of Words Anonymous, and more! Jam with musical performances by Suicidal Genius, Happy Monday People, and Chasing Deadlines, and catch live art by Tyang Karyel. Want to share your own ampalaya story? Join the open mic session. The show is produced by Black Table Productions.
