This Exhibit Explores How Silence Can Make Noise

The show has free-flowing coffee!

(SPOT.ph) What would a neighborhood café with amazing photographs as wall decor look like? It's not that uncommon a concept, but it's not every day that you see a coffee spot filled with photos by notable photographers. Space Encounters, a furniture store-slash-art gallery in Pasig City, is putting up a pseudo-café that features a photography show titled Stillness is the Noise. It opens on February 19.

"It’s a photography exhibition about how stillness doesn't mean 'quiet.' There's always something happening or stirring," explains Space Encounters owner Wilmer Lopez. The set-up will also feature free-flowing coffee from The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf.

Stillness is the Noise runs from February 19 to March 15 at 7/F Padilla Building, F. Ortigas Jr. Road, Ortigas Center, Pasig City. It is open from Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and every Saturday by appointment, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, visit Space Encounters' website.
