Tickets to Eto Na! Musikal nAPO! Are Now on Sale
The feel-good musical is back!
(SPOT.ph) Eto Na! Musikal nAPO!, an all-original Filipino musical told through songs by Apo Hiking Society, was one of the best shows that graced the Philippine stage in 2018. If you regret not seeing it, here's your chance as the 9 Works Theatrical production is coming back on February 2 at the Maybank Performing Arts Theater in Bonifacio Global City. Tickets are on sale starting today!
Eto Na! Musikal nAPO! is loosely based on the origin story of the Apo Hiking Society, which was formed in 1969 at the Ateneo de Manila high school with 15 members. Written and directed by Robbie Guevara, the musical follows seven friends who decided to join a songwriting contest for college students. But life eventually gets in the way, including having to deal with personal problems at home and in school. It also sheds light on what most young Filipinos went through under Ferdinand Marcos' dictatorship.
Leading the cast is Mark Bautista, together with Jon Philippe Go, Jobim Javier, Alfritz Blanche, Jef Flores, Jon Abella, and Vyen Villanueva. Joining Guevara behind the curtains are Daniel Bartolome as musical director, Jonjon Martin as dramaturg and co-writer, and PJ Rebullida as choreographer.
Eto Na! Musikal nAPO! runs from February 2 to March 17 at the Globe Auditorium, Maybank Performing Arts Theater, BGC Arts Center, 26th Street corner 9th Avenue, Bonifacio Global City. Tickets, priced from P1,500 to P3,600, are available through Ticketworld.
