The Harry Potter Theatrical Parody Is Returning to Manila
For nine shows only!
(SPOT.ph) How long did it take you to read all seven Harry Potter books or watch all eight movies? Probably not in one sitting, unless you were really hooked and had nothing else to do. Potted Potter, a two-person theatrical parody by British playwrights Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner, takes on the challenge of condensing the Harry Potter series into 70 LOL-worthy minutes. It's set to return to Manila for nine shows from March 20 to 24 at the BGC Arts Center.
Expect to see ridiculous props, songs with a lot of puns and Harry Potter references, endless costume changes, and orange wigs. It's the "Unauthorized Harry Experience," after all.
Potted Potter's international tour first came to Philippine shores in 2012. Following a sold-out season, it was restaged in 2013 and 2014.
Potted Potter runs from March 20 to 24 at Globe Auditorium, Maybank Performing Arts Theater, BGC Arts Center, 26th Street, Bonifacio Global City. Tickets, priced from P1,000 to P2,500, are available through Ticketworld.
