UPDATE: Musical Concert of The Phantom of the Opera Star Is Cancelled

Due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts.

(SPOT.ph) The Phantom of the Opera's Manila tour may haven't even started yet, but the people behind the production is announcing yet another big surprise. Jonathan Roxmouth, who's set to play the title role of The Phantom, is staging two shows dubbed The Musicals in Concert on April 13 (3 p.m. and 8 p.m.) at The Theatre at Solaire in Parañaque City.

He is set to perform songs from the best-loved West End and Broadway musicals, including "Bring Him Home" (Les MisĆ©rables), "Memory" (Cats), "Maria" (West Side Story), and—of course—"Music of the Night" (The Phantom of the Opera).

Roxmouth became the youngest English-speaking Phantom when he joined the Far East tour of the musical in 2012 when the show premiered in Manila. He previously played Billy Flynn in Chicago, Tony in West Side Story, Lun Tha in The King and I, and Joe Gillis in Sunset Boulevard.

The Musicals in Concert is on April 13, 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. at The Theatre at Solaire, Solaire Resort and Casino, 1 Aseana Avenue, ParaƱaque City. Tickets, priced from P1,250 to P5,200, are available through Ticketworld.

UPDATE (March 29):Ā Due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts, Jonathan Roxmouth's The Musicals in Concert has been cancelled. As part of the ongoing world tour for The Phantom of the Opera,Ā the headlinerĀ needs to travel to the next territories for advance promotions. Refunds for ticket purchases will be refunded accordingly.
