( Curtains are up! Following the announcements of Mula sa Buwan and Joseph, the Dreamer that they're returning to live theater this 2022, another production is set to come home to the stage soon. The Cultural Center of the Philippines released a teaser on The Virgin Labfest's return to Tanghalang Huseng Batute from June 15 to 26.

Established in 2005, The Virgin Labfest (VLF) has been known to mount "untried, untested, [and] unstaged" one-act plays at the Cultural Center of the Philippines' Studio Theater (a.k.a. Tanghalang Huseng Batute). The venue's flexibility gives directors, writers, and actors more than enough space to let their imaginations run wild in staging a 40-minute piece. While the two consecutive virtual runs of the VLF during the pandemic gave the artists a different kind of challenge, there's nothing like having a live audience.
