Be on the lookout for book fairs, a pop-up library, and more this month.
(SPOT.ph) You already know about the Pinoy Bookstore Tour, but there are lots more in store for National Literature Month.
According to Inquirer.net, there are two major events open to the public. World Book and Copyright Day takes place on April 23 at the Ayala Triangle Gardens. Held by the National Book Development Board, Instituto Cervantes, the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines, the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, the Komisyon ng Wikang Filipino, and Ayala Land, you can attend book fairs, listen to poetry readings, watch balagtasan performances, and check out the pop-up library by WTA Architecture & Design Studio.
Next on the list is the 7th Philippine International Literary Festival. Happening on April 28 to 29 at the QCX (Quezon City Experience) Museum in Quezon City, expect talks on improving the craft as well as promotion of titles published locally and homegrown literary talent, among others.
