Score Discounts Up to 50% Off on Theater Tickets
Only this weekend!
(SPOT.ph) The Cultural Center of the Philippines' Pasinaya is a much-awaited annual event where artists and art enthusiasts of all forms and genres come together under one roof for a weekend of art workshops and performances. The best thing about it is that it's on a see-all-you-can-pay-what-you-can scheme, challenging the notion that art can be expensive. This year, the Metro's central hub for the arts takes things up a notch by treating attendees to a flash sale of tickets for upcoming shows by the Cultural Center of the Philippines' (CCP) resident artist groups. These discounted passes may be purchased at the CCP Box Office from February 1 to 3.
Promo includes a 50% off rate for CCP shows in February, including Mmmm...Madz!, a pre-Valentine's Day celebration by the Philippine Madrigal Singers; Romeo and Juliet, which is Ballet Philippines' rendition of William Shakespeare's tragic love story; and Coriolano, which is Guelan Luarca's translation of Shakespeare's Coriolanus. The same deal applies to the restaging of Noli Me Tangere, The Opera in March; and the rerun of Baka Naman Hindi, a Filipino adaptation by Virgilio Beer Flores of Georges Feydeau’s A Flea in Her Ear, in April. But what's probably the icing on top is the 50% discount on festival passes for Virgin Labfest 2019's premiere week in June, and Cinemalaya 2019's all-access pass.
Pasinaya 2019 runs from February 1 to 3 at the Cultural Center of the Philippines, Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City. For more information, visit CCP's website.
