And Museo de La Salle down southāand by south, we mean DasmariƱas, Caviteāis opening its doors for free every Saturday of October in celebration of Museums and Galleries Month. You can check out its huge collection of Spanish-era artifacts on October 5, 12, 19, and 26, from 9 a.m to 3:30 p.m.

Museo de La Salle showcases objects commonly found in the home of an ilustrado during the Spanish colonial period. Their 19th-century collection includes antique furniture made of old wood, life-sized religious statues, crystal chandeliers, and rare ceramics. This glimpse into the lifestyle of the affluent is complemented by the museum's architecture: a two-storey building reminiscent of the traditional bahay-na-bato. Itās complete with a grand staircase, an azotea, and a Baroque altar at the center.

Museo de La Salle is at De La Salle University - DasmariƱas, DasmariƱas, Cavite. It is open from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Admission is at P100, except for all Saturdays of October 2019. For more information, follow Museo de La Salle's Facebook.
