(SPOT.ph) If there's one thing that book lovers (including ourselves) look forward to every year it's the Manila International Book Fair (MIBF). We mean, why wouldn't we? It's a book lover's paradise. Think discounts and massive price drops on popular titles, community building with fellow bibliophiles, and, duh, even more books! So if you're like us and are already planning your budgets for this year's MIBF, consider this your official save-the-date: The Manila International Book Fair is coming back this September.

Just like clockwork, the country's biggest and longest-running bookfair is coming back this year. Bookworms, mark your calendars! The Manila International Book Fair is happening from September 9 to 13 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

Much like the year before, the MIBF is the country's biggest book event of the year, perfect for bookworms from all walks of life. This means whether you're a student, an educator, an office worker, or whatnot, as long as you have a passion for reading (or collecting books), this is the event for you.

Expect reads from local and international publishers on display and even on sale at exclusive discounted prices. But, adding to your TBR list isn't the only thing you can do at the MIBF. There will also be a slew of pocket activities like meet-and-greets with your favorite authors, book launches, panel discussions about publishing and your favorite books, and workshops and activities that'll transport you to where stories come alive.

In addition to books, zines, and graphic novels, this year's MIBF is hosting School World 2026. This co-located event is perfect for those in the market for non-book educational products. Think digital learning technologies, teaching aids, administrative and institutional tools, and many more. So if you’re looking for supplementary learning materials for the kids or the lifelong learners in your life, you’ll find plenty of them at this year’s MIBF.
