Heirloom family recipes, a lamb feast and overloaded extreme cheese pizzas are on SPOT.ph's radar this week.
1. Taste nostalgia at La Moderna
Sample simple but flavorful dishes from the Narciso family of Pampanga with family recipes dating back to the 1940s at Butchie's Recipes of La Moderna Pampanga in Wilson Street, Greenhills. Enjoy beef calitiran, lengua, callos, bulanglang na bangus, kare-kare and the much-acclaimed ebun buro (salted egg) and malunggay sorbetes and buco cheese dayap sherbet.

2. Eat 'bromance' pizza at Greenwich
Greenwich just launched the Overloaded Extreme Cheese Pizzas, for men who love pizza and meat with their 'cheesy moments', Greenwich says.
One of the new pizzas is the Philly Cheesesteak Overload, a half-pound roast beef with a double layer of mozzarella and cream cheese, topped with mushrooms and green bell peppers.
Greenwich also touts its Monster Cheese and Pepperoni Overload with a double layer of mozzarella, as having 100 percent more pepperoni than other pizzas. Though a little salty (what do you expect from cheese-loaded pizzas?), both are truly overloaded with toppings and perfect for cheese and meat lovers (men AND women).
Available at all Greenwich branches.
3. Wine and dine with the gang at Galileo Enoteca
For a minimum of five in a group, you and your friends can have delicate cheeses and special cured meats at Galileo Enoteca, with seat meals at P350/ person. The menu includes soup of the day, Garden Salad with Tuna tossed in Balsamic Vinaigrette, pizza, Shrimp Scampi in Garlic & Olive oil, pasta, wine and coffee or tea.
They also have "authentic" Italian burgers in the works and will be available soon.

4. Je Suis Gourmand's Lamb Feast
For lunch and dinner, you can enjoy a gourmet meal at Je Suis Gourmand at promotional prices. Take your pick from the Grilled Marinated Lamb Tenderloin Salad with Pureed Black Olive Vinaigrette and Parmesan Shavings (P460+), the Sautéed Lamb & Spinach Ravioli with Feta Cheese & Lamb Jus (P380+) or the Grilled Lamb Steak with Yogurt & Tahineh Sauce, Salad & Baked Potato (P620+).
