(SPOT.ph) Parisian café chic meets Seoul’s fascination with all things cute in Tous Les Jours, Korea’s popular French-inspired bakery, which recently opened its first branch at the ground floor of The Block, SM City North EDSA, in Quezon City. Decked out in French boulangerie-style store interiors, the grab-and-go bakery displays freshly-baked bread, pastries perfect for a shopping break, and pretty-looking cakes packaged in gift-ready boxes.

What to try? Tous Les Jours’s cream cheese Danish and cream cake will score points with those who like fresh, light pastries. Also worth a taste is Tous Les Jours’s Soboro, a crumbly peanut-flavored bread. The café is full of treats that are sure to tempt at first sight: we spied a cake with a Belgian chocolate teddy bear, as well as their popular Kiss Kiss cake made with strawberry chiffon and sprinkled with sweet strawberry bits. But they don’t just do pretty--everything on display is made fresh daily so they’ll taste as good as they look. In the next few months, they’ll also be adding new selections like the Walnut Pound Loaf, Cheese Pound Cake, Sweet Potato Cake, and cheesecakes.
