Drool Alert: Dairy Queen launches Oreo Ice Cream Sandwich
Is this the start of an ice cream sandwich craze?
(SPOT.ph) Once again, this ice cream joint is showing the world the permutations of Oreo cookies. Dairy Queen, whose success in the Philippines stems from the immensely popular Dilly Bar and Oreo-flavored Blizzard, has introduced an Oreo Ice Cream Sandwich with an announcement via their Facebook page. The sandwich, described as "Dairy Queen on the inside and Oreo on the outside," features a pair of oversized chocolate cookies held together by a thick disc of creamy vanilla ice cream.
The Oreo Ice Cream Sandwich costs P49 whereas DQ’s original DQ Ice Cream Sandwich is P39. Other restaurant chains featuring a similar product are Carl’s Jr. and Breyers.
