(SPOT.ph) There are things to remember about a Triple-O's burger. The beef is from Canada, a country known for its excellent livestock. The legendary namesake sauce with tongue-tingling homemade mayonnaise and relish is carried over straight from White Spot, its parent restaurant. The bun is baked fresh using Triple-O's recipe-and the fact that Goldilocks is the one responsible for bringing the franchise to Manila only reaffirms its quality.
Original with Cheese
Keep this in mind because the prices are a little more than what we're accustomed to seeing in a fast-food restaurant. The Original with Cheese (P240) is a hefty stack with an imposing cap of a top bun and a long sliver of pickle sitting very much like a crown. Each layer is visible and prominent, the 100% all-beef patty, the streak of orange from the tomatoes, the crisp light green of fresh lettuce, the blanket of yellow from the cheese, and, of course, the sauce. The bun is wonderfully airy, sinking to manageable proportions to elevate the filling. It's not the type of burger that shocks you with an intimidating disc of meat or fanciful ingredients. Instead, it's balanced, relatable, and simple in the sense that you can have it every day with no problem.

Further embellishments like mushroom (Monty Mushroom, P310) or bacon (Bacon Cheddar, P300) appear throughout the menu while other proteins, like chicken (Spicy Ultimate Crunch, P300, and Chicken Supreme, P275), and fish (Crispy Fish, P300), are highlighted as well.
Tailored to more convenient dining, Triple-O's also offers Combination meals with fries, sweet potato fries, chicken, or milkshakes. We give our nod towards the latter. Their milkshakes (P150/small, P200/Regular) feel like that creamy point just before ice cream melts into a total puddle. It's cool but not icy, allowing the sweet indulgence to smoothly slide down your throat.
