Filipino sports (and food!) fans have a new hangout.

(SPOT.ph) Now that the Philippines seems to have heartily embraced pub culture-combining a common passion for food, sports, and (oftentimes) beer-the entrance of the 33-year-old US franchise, Buffalo Wild Wings, into the booming restaurant scene is beyond timely. "Given Filipinos' love for sports, we expect big crowds and lots of excitement, especially during major sporting events," shares Jean Paul Manuud, Bistro Group of Restaurant's President and COO. "Buffalo Wild Wings offer fans the best place to watch a big game."

Although people come for the flat-screen TVs and beers, they return for the award-winning chicken wings. Diners can choose from 18 signature sauces and seasonings with spice levels from "smiling" to "screaming." Those who prefer their wings mild should go for the Garlic Parmesan or Sweet Barbecue, but if pain is on the agenda, their Mango Habanero or Blazin' Wings will definitely do the trick. Whether you're coming solo or bringing the gang, you can have your fill of wings in snack size (P295/five pieces), small (P495/10 pieces), medium (P695/15 pieces), and large (P895/20 pieces). Other must-tries are the beloved Fried Mozarella Sticks (P325), Pulled Pork Sandwich (P475), and Buffalo Chicken Flatbread (P375).

A whole lot of wings
To accompany the tasty grub, do select a drink from their extensive bar menu-from signature cocktails to a beer list that reads like the list of UEFA World Cup's participating countries. Wash down a large order of their wings with beers from Japan, Mexico, Germany, US, France, and many more. If the local brew is more to your liking, they have those in bottles and on tap, too. Prices range from P105 to P395.
"We are very excited to bring the Buffalo Wild Wings experience to Manila and we look forward to becoming a part of this dynamic community," said Tim Murphy, Vice President (International) for Buffalo Wild Wings. We can be sure that the two pals who founded the neighborhood wings joint in Ohio three decades ago never imagined that their little venture will somehow end up on the other side of the world, giving Filipinos a taste of the ultimate sports-viewing experience and, of course, really awesome chicken wings.
