A Cheetos macaron, and other sweet ways to celebrate Macaron Day
Special flavors, free cookies, fund donations, and more!
(SPOT.ph) World Macaron Day 2016 actually falls on March 20, so we're calling the line-up of festivities Macaron Weekend instead.
Today, March 18, is the last day you can get TWG's tea-infused macarons for only P30. SPOT.ph's current No. 1 macaron in Manila, which normally fetches P50, come in picturesque flavors like Napoleon Tea & Caramel, Earl Grey & Chocolate, Moroccan Mint Tea, Camelot Tea & Praline, and more.
On March 19, make a beeline for Bizu. The dessert chain will be offering a free macaron de Paris to every customer. Bizu will be once again donating part of their proceeds to the Virlanie Foundation. Virlanie is a private French-run organization that aims to improve the lives of Filipino street kids.
Mrs. Graham's Macaron Cafe will be celebrating World Macaron Day right on March 20. Owner Anna Achacoso Graham has come up with a special new flavor just for the occasion—a Cheetos macaron. It's a sunny-looking cookie made with a cheese meringue shell and cream cheese filling that's dipped in white chocolate and sprinkled with Cheetos. You can even choose between Original or Jalapeño. On Sunday, an order of this new flavor gets you a basic macaron on the house.
Mrs. Graham's Macaron Cafe is at 51C Scout Rallos Street, Barangay Laging Handa, Quezon City. Read more about Mrs. Graham's.
